Breathing Better with Inhalers

Asthma is considered to be one of the most common lung related diseases today. And due to the demand in market asthma treatment albuterol comes in many different forms. Albuterol comes in many different forms. Some are inhaled into the lungs, while others are taken by mouth (swallowed or orally) and work through the bloodstream.. Examples of inhaled type are Albuterol, Proventil, Ventolin, Proair HFA, Proventil HFA. And an example of swallowed type treatment asthma albuterol is Vospire.

Most Common Types of Inhalers

Proventil is commonly used to prevent or treat airway spasms in people with asthma or certain other conditions. The medication comes in the form of an inhaler and is part of a class of drugs called beta-adrenergic receptor agonists. It stimulates beta receptors in the body, which helps the muscles around the airways relax and allows more air to get into and through the lungs. Possible side effects include shakiness, nausea, and nervousness.

Ventolin is another drug which comes in a form of an inhaler. This drug also prevents airway spasms like Proventil but Ventolin is mainly for preventing asthma attacks induced by exercise. Some of the people with asthma take it on a regular basis to help prevent attacks from occurring. This drug is also a beta-adrenergic receptor agonist just like the previous drug mentioned. Beta-adrenergic receptors helps the body in relaxing the muscles making the airways open up for air to flow.

Although Ventolin relieves the patient of asthma, side effects must also be considered. Side effects include coughing, respiratory infections and throat irritation.

Ventolin is considered to be replaced by Generic Albuterol Inhaler considered to be its equivalent. Albuterol inhalers are prescription medications used to treat asthma and other similar lung problems. Albuterol is part of a class of asthma drugs known as beta-adrenergic receptor agonists, or beta agonists for short. There are many different albuterol inhalers. Some are equivalent to each other, while others are not.

Older Types of Inhalers

Older inhalers are made using chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) as the propellants, while newer inhalers use hydrofluoroalkane (HFA), an environmentally friendly propellant. The older inhalers include, Proventil , Ventolin (no longer made). Proair windy weather shuttlecock is used to treat or prevent airway spasms, as well as to prevent exercise-induced asthma attacks.

The drug works by opening up the airways and allowing more air to get into and through the lungs. Some people take Proair HFA only when they need it (during an asthma attack), while others take it regularly to help prevent attacks. Side effects can include an irritated throat, headaches, and runny nose.

Proventil HFA is an environmentally friendly inhaler that contains albuterol. It can be used to prevent or treat bronchospasms that occur in people with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. The medication causes the muscles around airways to relax, which opens up the airways. Some side effects that may occur include upper respiratory tract infections, nausea, and vomiting.

Asthma treatment albuterol is considered type of medicine for asthma because of its availability to the market and lesser side effects had been proven to show up with the use of albuterol.
